About SPL

Our mission: To use performance, outreach, and strategic partnerships to connect and educate our community. We foster individual growth, promote connectivity, and build community through the lessons of improvisational theater.

Super Project Lab gives back to the community using improvisational theater as a means of teaching life skills. The skills developed in improvisational theater are as applicable to everyday life as they are to on-stage performance: heightened listening, teamwork, problem solving, creativity, trusting yourself, trusting others, and maintaining a positive attitude in the face of the unknown. We communicate these lessons through fun interactive workshops, performance, and other venues.

People of all ages and walks of life can benefit from the lessons of improvisational theater. We teach those in need of life-changing, pro-social skills by bringing improv-based curriculums into schools, nursing homes, hospitals, prisons, backyards, and basements… wherever the call takes us!
